INTERNATIONAL SKATEBOARD PRO-SERIES

-Vert: Individual competition that will confront international skaters in Half Pipe.
-Street: Riders will compete in Skatepark.

NIKE 6.0 INTERNATIONAL BMX PRO-SERIES

-Street: Riders will show their abilities in Streetpark.
-Flatland: The specialists in Flatland will deleight the crowd.

X-GAMES.

The X Games is an annual event with a focus on extreme action sports. The Winter X Games are held in January or February(usually in January) and the Summer X Games are usually held in August, both in the United States. Participants compete to win bronze, silver and gold medals, and prize money. The competition often features new tricks such as Tony Hawk’s 900 in skateboarding and Travis Pastrana double backflip in Motocross. Concurrent with competition is the “X Fest” sports and music festival, which offers live music, athlete autograph sessions and interactive elements. The location of the Winter X Games is in Aspen, Colorado through 2012, while the location for the Summer X Games is in Los Angeles through 2009. The X Games also has international competitions and demos around the world that are held at varying times throughout the year. The games are shown live on ESPN and ABC television.

There will be a x-games in barcelona this weekend.

Ryan Villopoto is one of the best bikers of the SX supercross in USA.

He’s only 21 years old, and in my opinion he’s better than a lot of bikers that there are in the competition who have more experience than him.

He rides for the team Kawasaki monster. Now this team is leadering the clasification.

2006 Villopoto began his professional career in the AMA West Supercross Lites Series at Angel Stadium for Anaheim I, where he finished second-place overall.

In 2007 Villopoto started the season with a dominating performance in the AMA West Supercross Lites Series, where he won seven of the eight races. He carried his momentum into motocross, winning his second-straight AMA Motocross Lites Championship. To cap off a perfect season, Villopoto became the first rider in history to win the overalls in both motos on KX250F against larger 450cc motorcycles at the Motocross of Nations.

The surf is a sport that consists of sliding on the waves of the sea on a table, directing her thanks to one or several keels placed in the back part of the table.

The surf is a sport that is been in the habit of practising in summer, in beaches where the waves allow a few good conditions to realize this sport.

In the century XXI the surf has increased very much his pace of progression, and nowadays quite in the surf it is removing to the end: air, big waves, you operate in general, variants of the surf (stand up paddle), waves mutants, competitions…

Even the styles are improving, surfers since Jordy Smith they are combining styles more polished than none that has met before with impossible maneuvers, another very progressive surfer is Clay Marzo, who tailslides and pipes belong to the best that have met. So, the trend is to lead everything to the end, which does of the surf a sport increasingly spectacularly, and that attracts to more and more people, as spectators and student teachers.

In my opinion the two best surfers in the world are Kelly Slater and Mick fanning that have won the lasts world championships of surf.

SNOWBOARD.

The snowboard is an extreme sport of snow that was born out of “boredom” of which they were skiing and looking more for emotion. For it the snowboarders invent the table of snowboard that provides more stability and allows to do better and more maneuvers than with the skis. From here new modalities started discovering as the halp park the pipe etc …

Nowadays the snowboard is a very popular sport it seems that little by little winning this area to the sport king of last years in the snow; the ski.

Personally I believe that the snowboard is funnier and entertaining than the ski.The snowboard allows to realize more tricks and to enjoy stronger sensations.

Street biking: BMX

The BMX originated in California at the beginning of the 70’s, when the young men were trying to imitate the champions of motocross with their bikes. In the year 1980 the variant was generalized known like race, or careers in circuits of land, very similar to the realized ones with motorcycles. Later, in the middle of the decade of the 80, with the first exclusive bicycles of freestyle tricks would be begun to do in skateparks and even in the street, consolidating what now we know as BMX. More concretly, in 1977, the American Bicycle Association (ABUSES) one organized as a national entity for the growth of the sport that got in Europe in 1978. In April, 1981, the BMX’s international Federation was founded, and the first championship of the world was celebrated in 1982. From January, 1993 the BMX it has been integrated inside the Union Cycliste Internationale, which now is known as UCI.

Though it is known in other countries, in Spain BMX’s racers/ bikers there is called “Riders” or also “Bikers” . Last weekend took place the Enduro Indoor of Vigo in which Iván Cervantes proved again that he is the world champion. In spite of some disadvantages that different originally he could mend and elite to be done with the first place of the podium in the category.

Iván Cervantes, the Champion of the World of enduro indoor, proved that he is the best on his category. He won in all three finals of the Enduro Indoor ” Tourism of Vigo “, celebrated before more than 3.500 spectators. Cervantes already got to the public into the pocket when, in the first final, after getting hooked up in the first curve and remaining last he began the mended one that culminated advancing in the own goal Xavi Galindo. That of KTM demonstrated, besides, to be the strongest in a technical and demanding circuit that did the delights of a public understood and delivered with the pilots.
